Album Review: Deerhoof > Deerhoof vs Evil

Deerhoof vs Evil
Deerhoof
Polyvinyl / Jan 25th, 2011
1.9 of 5 (38%)

Analysis: What am I missing with these guys? Can anyone intelligently prove to me that Deerhoof is anything more than just a shy Japanese girl singing random English words and phrases that make her giggle? It really ruins a lot of the interesting instrumentation for me. What is the real appeal, honestly? That isn’t a snarky question, I’d really like to know.
