Album Review: Cold War Kids > Mine is Yours

Mine is Yours
Cold War Kids
Mercury / Jan 25th, 2011
3.3 of 5 (66%)

Analysis: Everything that could be considered innovative or unique about Cold War Kids’ 2006 debut Robbers & Cowards is gone, polished over with a familiar ready-for-radio sound that makes for a fun, boisterously sunny listen, but still feels like a step backwards for the group. Mine is Yours is like a hundred other albums you’ve heard before, but is luckily still a good time.
